Summary
I have finished my PhD at the Osaka City University post graduate school of Medicine, worked on human ligament flavum, to assess the gene expression changes and their function in hypertrophy of human LF.
As LSCS is a common and multifactorial pathology in elderly, and mostly treated surgically, therefore I aimed to contribute to non-surgical treatment of spinal canal stenosis with inhibition of responsible genes, in which using DNA microarray we could indicate all those genes elevated because of mechanical stress. And I have evaluated the expression through immunohistochemistry and function of genes responsible for the inflammation, fibrosis, chondrogenesis and other related processes such as cells proliferation, cells migration, changes in cells morphology and myofibroblastic differentiation.
Besides I worked on effect of minimal invasive decompression surgery on sagittal spinopelvic parameters and clinical outcomes in mid to long-term follow up on the patients with LSCS also between different groups of patients such as LSCS patients with coexisting Scoliosis or spondylolisthesis. As well as I worked on development of novel method for the assessment of back muscle strength and cross-sectional area of paravertebral muscles measuring trunk muscle mass using bioelectrical impedance analyzer.
To be mentioned, my recent work is about evaluation of risk factors for residual low back pain after Balloon Kyphoplasty procedure in patients having Osteoporotic vertebral body fracture. Also work on effectiveness of novel fixator for the release of adductor contracture of first web space in hand.
Besides, as the injury to the white-white zone of medial meniscus is always happening to the sport men and its surgical management is challenging and controversial, we have recently developed a novel method for the surgical treatment of medial meniscus repair using fibrin and we performed research in mentioned regard which was just accepted in an international Journal.
