Short Biography:
Graduated in Physiotherapy at the Regional University Center of Espírito Santo do Pinhal (2010). Master in Cellular and Structural Biology (concentration in Anatomy) by UNICAMP. PhD in Cellular and Structural Biology (concentration in Anatomy) at UNICAMP. Researches the neuroprotective effects of cannabidiol and HUF 101 and their interactions with the endocannabinoid system, in neonatal and adult animals after injuries to the nervous system. He is currently a professor of Human Anatomy at the School of Physical Education and Sport at the University of São Paulo in Ribeirão Preto, and at UniMetrocamp Wyden.), Carries out teaching and research activities in the neuroanatomy and microsurgery laboratory at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the State University from Campinas. The focus of his research activities is on teaching neuroanatomy in modern curricula, also working on the preparation and 3D documentation of anatomical specimens, as well as a description of the anatomical variations found.
