Summary
Nine years of experience in the laboratory area, of these, seven years working with projects focused on the use of nanomaterials in the drug delivery system for the treatment of cancer, and working with projects that include the study of toxicologic potential of natural and synthetic products as well as the mechanisms related to the biological responses and how those substances can modulate the DNA of tumor and non-tumor cells, in vitro and in vivo. Bachelor degree of Science in Biological Sciences since 2012, a Master of Science in 2015, and currently in the last year of PhD, with a thesis defence scheduled for January 2021. Was honored as the best graduate student (2012), obtained honorable mention as the best work presented by the Brazilian Society of Genetics (2012) and was the winner in the academic work presentation contest (2017).
Research
interests: Genotoxicity and antigenotoxicity
(micronucleus test, comet assay, chromosomal aberrations); carcinogenicity
(focus of aberrant crypts); antitumor test; antiproliferative activity and
cytotoxicity of medicinal plant extracts, isolated and synthetic substances and
nanomaterials in mammalian cells (in vivo and in vitro studies).
