Summary
He holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Uberlândia,
Brazil (UFU), a master's degree and a PhD in Applied Immunology and Parasitology
(UFU), with a postdoctoral degree in Biotechnology and Structural Biology at the
University of Oxford, United Kingdom. Participated in the official mission to transfer
HIV, Syphilis, Leptospirosis and Leishmaniasis diagnostic kits and the 10-valent
pneumococcal vaccine to the Brazilian Health System. Winner of the Alcides Godoy
Award (Fiocruz). He currently works at Fiocruz, in technical-scientific cooperation
with UFU. He has experience in clinical immunology, methods for immunodiagnostics
and industrial biotechnology, with emphasis on: allergen sensitization; aeroallergen
biochemistry; nanoconjugation; development of recombinant proteins and antibodies;
scaling and quality control in immunobiologicals; production of conjugate vaccines;
development and production of immunobiologicals and diagnostic kits; research quality
management.
