Holds degree in Environmental Science, from the Central South University of Forestry and Technology (2000); Master of Science in Marine Environmental Science, from the Ocean University of China (2003); PhD in Ecotoxicology, from Nankai University, China (2007), and postdoctoral studies at the Arizona State University, USA (2007-2009). Currently is an associate professor at Division of Ocean Science and Technology, Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University, China. Has extensive experiences in the area of Marine Environmental Science and Ecotoxicology, with emphasis on Marine ecotoxicology of emerging chemicals, esp. the fate, transport, transformation, bioaccumulation and toxicity of manufactured nanomaterials, plastic particles, POPs and heavy metals etc. in aquatic environment.
