Dr. Daniel Tang Kuok Ho is an associate professor and the program coordinator of the Health, Safety and Environment Program of Curtin University Malaysia. He is registered as a Chartered Engineer and a Chartered Environmentalist with the Energy Institute, UK. He is also an EIA consultant registered with both the State and Federal environmental agencies and has accumulated vast experience in managing environmental projects particularly environmental impact assessment and management plans. He is currently active in consultancy as well as research related to health, safety, environment and sustainability.
Dr. Yingchao Hu received his BSc and PhD from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. Dr. Hu is currently an associate professor at the School of Energy Science and Engineering, Central South University. His research areas include the mitigation of CO2 emission using CCS technology, and the control of various pollutants from combustion, especially coal combustion. In the past years, he has been working in the field of CO2 capture and conversion, particularly the development of intermediate- and high-temperature CO2 sorbents and electrochemical conversion of CO2 into carbonaceous materials. His scientific activity includes over 30 SCI-indexed papers, 7 patents and he collaborate as a reviewer by nearly 20 scientific journals.
DProf. DProf. Prof. Prof. Miklas Scholz, cand ing, BEng (equiv), PgC, MSc, PhD, DSc, CWEM, CEnv, CSci, CEng, FHEA, FIEMA, FCIWEM, FICE, Fellow of IWA, Fellow of IETI, has published four books and 240 journal articles. Prof. Scholz has total citations of 6504 (above 3600 citations since 2015), resulting in an h-index of 41 and an i10-Index of 143. A bibliometric analysis of all constructed wetland-related publications and corresponding authors with a minimum number of 20 publications and 100 citations indicates that Miklas Scholz is on place 5 in the world of about 70 authors (including those who have passed away). In 2019, Prof. Scholz was awarded EURO 7M for the EU H2020 REA project Water Retention and Nutrient Recycling in Soils and Streams for Improved Agricultural Production (WATERAGRI). He received EURO 1.52M for the JPI Water 2018 project Research-based Assessment of Integrated approaches to Nature-based SOLUTIONS (RAINSOLUTIONS).
Prof. Dr. Jiao Qu is a doctoral tutor from School of Environment, Northeast Normal University. The research direction is environmental chemistry, including remediation of soil heavy metal pollution, preparation of environmental nano materials by a green method, control and treatment of organic pollutants in aquatic environments. The local hyperaccumulator have been screened to apply in phytoremediation of heavy metal contaminated soil. Furthermore, the residues of hyperaccumulator were applied for the preparation and design of the nanomaterials with excellent morphology and photo/electric chemical properties to remove organic pollutants in aquatic environments via adsorption and photo/electrical catalytic degradation.
