He has spent his career using mass spectrometry to develop high-sensitivity analytical methods and to characterize glycosylation in a variety of fields including medicine, pharmacy, cancer research, immunology, and protein & glycolipid structure-function relationships. Tao got his Ph.D. at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, from 2012 to 2017. Since 2017, he joined Leiden University Medical Center as a postdoctoral researcher. He has published more than 20 publications in peer-reviewed international academic journals and 2 patents.
Prof. Dr. Ricardo Hsieh is a doctor in Dental Surgery at School of Dentistry, the University of São Paulo, Brazil (2004) and first scientific research started during undergraduate education, followed the graduation education (Master and Ph.D. degree) at Department of Dermatology, School of Medicine, University of São Paulo (2012). Completed Post-doctoral program at Department of Pathology and Stomatology of School of Dentistry, University of São Paulo (2016), Brazil. In 2015, I was an Associate Research Scientist at the Department of Pathology, Yale School of Medicine developing multicenter collaboration research. All my research projects and subject have been involving photo-protected sites melanomas (mainly Oral mucosal and Acral lentiginous types); Fetal melanocytes and Salivary glands development; our research group had built a Primary Oral Mucosal Melanoma cell lines by cell culture; and others Dermatological and Stomatological diseases research studies (as Oral squamous cell carcinoma, mucoepidermoid carcinoma, and Oral Lupus). Currently, I am a Researcher at the Institute of Tropical Medicine, University of São Paulo, Brazil, and Professor of General Pathology at Federal University of Alfenas, Brazil. I have some research grants from the Brazilian Funding Agency (CNPq, FAPESP, and FUNADERM) and several awards from many international conferences. He has got his RNDr. degree from the University of Leningrad (USSR), a Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Evolutionary Physiology and Biochemistry (Leningrad, USSR), and DrSc degree from the Research Institute of Animal Production (Nitra, Slovakia). He worked as Research Scientist, Senior Research Scientist, Head of the Laboratory and Project Leader in the Research Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics (Leningrad-Pushkin, USSR), International Laboratory for Biotechnology (Nitra, Czechoslovakia), Research Institute of Animal Production/Animal Production Research Centre (Nitra, Slovakia) and Constantine the Philosopher University (Nitra, Slovakia). He had fellowships in Institute of Physiology and Genetics (Libechov, Czechoslovakia), Institute of Experimental Endocrinology (Bratislava, Slovakia), Research Centre of Animal Production (Dummerstorf, Germany), Institute for Animal Science and Animal Behaviour (Celle, Germany), Institute of Animal Science (Mariensee, Germany), University of Colonia (Colonia, Germany), Babraham Institute (Babraham, UK), University of Bristol (Bristol, UK), University of Nottingham (Sutton Bonington, UK) and other international research centers. He is selected as a candidate for the “National Ten Thousand Talents Program” and “National Young and Middle-aged Leading Talents in S&T Innovation, PRC”. He also serves as an Associate Editor of Biotechnology and Applied Biochemistry (IUBMB & Wiley). He received his Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology, P.R. China. His main research interests are in the field of stem cells, bioactive evaluation, and the application of natural products.

inflammatory diseases; and 4) natural products and herbal formulations for
cancer.
Edoardo Maria Muttillo is a medical doctor in specialty training in hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery at the University of Rome La Sapienza. The main field of research interest is oncologic and transplantologic hepatobiliary surgery, oncologic pancreatic surgery, benign diseases and transplantology.
