Dr. Jalaluddin Mohammad Asharaf is an Assistant Professor at School of Biotechnology, Yeungnam University, Gyeongnas, Republic of Korea. His area of research is glycation reaction and its role in Diabetic complications. He completed his doctorate at Aligarh Muslim University, India in 2012. He is interested in investigating the role of advanced glycation endproducts (AGEs), resulting from glycation reaction, in the initiation/progression of secondary complications of diabetes and teaching. At present, his research area is developmental biology (myogenesis) and doing research on AGEs role in diabetic myopathy. He has published umpteen number of research articles in reputed international journals.
Dr. B. MYTHILI GNANAMANGAI graduated from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore in Biotechnology and Master’s degree in Biotechnology at Vivekanadha College of Arts and Science, Tiruchengode. I completed my Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education at Indira Gandhi Open University, Delhi. I have completed my M.tech Biotechnology in K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology. I received the Ph.D. degree in faculty of Science and Humanities from Anna University, Chennai in 2012. I have four years of teaching and research experience. Presently, I am working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology, Namakkal Dt. My area of research includes Nanobiotechnology, Microbial Biotechnology, Medical Biotechnology and food microbiology. I am skilled in handling microbial techniques and Instrumentation troubleshooting. I received national level Young Women Scientist Award from Dr. Kalam Educational Trust for tribal, Chennai for my contribution towards science and technology. I presented a paper entitled evaluation of knowledge on cooking methods, food nutrition and safety among women population aged around 40 years, organized by International Institute of food and nutritional sciences, New Delhi and Southern regional station, ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Bengaluru and won I prize. So far I have received 17 awards for my research contribution. Dr. B. Mythili Gnanamangai has guided 25 B.Tech. graduates, 2 M.Tech. graduates and 5 Ph.D scholars. I have more than 33 publications in International and National journals with overall impact factor of 25 and three book chapters. I have filed two US Patent entitled “biosynthesis of gold and silver nanoparticles for stability and extended shelf-life of antagonistic activities” and “simple and modified process for isolation of Quercetin from Saudi Arabian Date fruits (Phoenix dactylifera L.) using Ionic liquid Microwave assisted extraction method”.
