Polymerase chain reaction abbreviated as PCR is a technique that allows to make millions of copies of a DNA. This helps scientists and researchers to study by amplifying a small sample of DNA from the host. This technique is commonly used in the fields of DNA cloning, medical diagnostics, and forensic analysis of DNA. DNA amplified by PCR may be sent for sequencing, visualized by gel electrophoresis, or cloned into a plasmid for further experiments.
Scientific Research on Polymerase chain reaction can help advance science and technology in diverse subject ranges. Journal of Biomedical Research & Environmental Sciences accumulates the research articles and manuscripts on PCR and provides their unrestricted access to scientist, researchers, academicians and medical executives.
